We are a faith based 501c3 that God has grown over the past several years.
We are blessed to have 4 different ministries within Spread Hope Now to help
serve others who are struggling in our community. Our ministries include
a Donation Center, The Warming Center, The Journey House and Hope 180.

2024 was a busy and beautiful year for Spread Hope Now! (SHN) Our goals at SHN are to
bring glory to God through the work He has inspired us to do, and to share the
life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ through meeting the needs of those in crisis. We have
seen such great things happen in the past 12 months by joining with God
in where He is already working!

The Warming Center was open December 1st through the end of February and provided a
warm place to sleep, hot meals, a shower, and access to area resources to those in our
community who are homeless. Our mission is to connect our guests to paths out of homelessness: recovery centers, mental health organizations, and housing groups. Churches provided hot
meals and community to these adults in order to give them a chance to move forward.

Journey House, our Foster Care Transitional House, is bringing hope and peace to many
children at the worst time in their lives - removal from their family. Twenty-four children
stayed in Journey House the seven months since it opened in 2024. These children received
so much love and care while there! They also left with new clothing and shoes, books, their
own Bible book, a suitcase, and a stuffed animal. Volunteers surrounded these kids with
prayer and love while in their care. We are thrilled that local and state social workers have
recognized the value of Journey House and are recommending other cities open one. In
2025, we are recognizing our need for more storage and space,
and are exploring the idea of expansion.

Hope180 Teen Ministry Center is thriving and growing! In 2024, Hope180 began a
partnership with the Juvenile Department of Sikeston in an effort to reach even more
at-risk teens in our community. Monday through Thursday after school, teens have the
opportunity to join a martial arts or art class, receive tutoring, and participate in many
other activities. Volunteers make time to listen and encourage each student to grow and
learn. We are currently doing some renovations to the building, adding a washer and dryer
and larger water heater, to accommodate our growing needs.
